Post 7: Comparing and Contrasting

  Hello Bloggers, 👋 Can you believe it?😱 We are almost at the finish line.🥳 Even though this was a short session, it was very informative. It almost feels as if the info was crammed, but that's neither here nor there. Tonight's topic is Comparing and Contrasting "Academic Writing in High School with Academic Writing in College." While both share similarities, they are certainly different. The design of both is to display info in the correct grammatical form, research ideas, and convince your readers. In both parts, you are to use proper citations to avoid plagiarism and credit the original authors.   Hello Fellow Bloggers, It's nice to "see" you here with me again, lol. Tonight, I'm going to speak about Boyd's Essay "Murder." I'll get straight to the point because I'm at work right now. On page (88) It really caught my attention that she used the phrase "Getting in Touch with Your Inner Detective" and asked -What types of details did you find yourself adding? why -What details did you omit? Why? And from what I understood is that you have to discern, define, observe, and show your expertise in reading and writing. Just like what the detectives do in the real world or in any of the crime shows we watch on TV. To answer the question, do I find her persuasive?  Hello fellow bloggers, So, I am going to get straight to the point BUT I want this piece to be enjoyable to read also. But in my essay, I wanted to give some insight into why the education major would be a good fit and what some of the benefits of possibly having that degree are. It was supposed to be a little persuasive and slightly argumentative on how this major would be better than any others but I don't think I did a good job on that part. I tried to throw in a little logic only Because at the end of the day, this is just my opinion and not facts. From what I researched and from what I experienced pursuing this Education degree, you would be  Making a Difference , you will have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of young children, helping them reach their full potential and that is just to name a few.
