It's nice to "see" you here with me again, lol. Tonight, I'm going to speak about Boyd's Essay "Murder." I'll get straight to the point because I'm at work right now. On page (88) It really caught my attention that she used the phrase "Getting in Touch with Your Inner Detective" and asked
-What types of details did you find yourself adding? why
-What details did you omit? Why?
And from what I understood is that you have to discern, define, observe, and show your expertise in reading and writing. Just like what the detectives do in the real world or in any of the crime shows we watch on TV. To answer the question, do I find her persuasive? I most definitely do, and that's because she explained what is needed to become a good writer.
